Thank You, SEM Families - and Save the Date for Spirit Night
What a start to the year! Two events in one week, both of them early mornings, and both of them made possible entirely by families who showed up.
Back-to-School Breakfast
On Tuesday, August 11, we set up outside the SEM office and welcomed everyone back to campus with breakfast and spirit gear. Thank you to every parent who took a shift that morning - setting up at 7:30, serving breakfast, and running merch sales.
Senior Sunrise
Three days later, on Friday, August 14, the Class of 2027 gathered at the 12th Street Deck Park at 6:45 a.m. to watch the sun come up together over breakfast.
Thank you to everyone who contributed, and to everyone who set an alarm for something well before dawn on a school day. These mornings are the ones seniors remember. Thank you for making this one happen!
Coming Up: SEM Spirit Night at Free Play, Tuesday, August 25
Our first-ever Spirit Night is Tuesday, August 25th after school, and the whole SEM community is invited - staff, students, parents, and friends.
Free Play is at 3015 Gulden Lane in Trinity Groves. Doors open right after school and Free Play is open to us until 9 p.m. Admission is $12.89 plus tax.
Around 5:30 p.m., don't miss a special competition between SEM staff and students. Food and drinks are available if you'd like to stay for dinner.
$5 from every admission comes back to the SEM PTSA - but only if you tell them. Please mention that you're with SEM at the entrance so your purchase counts toward our total.
Parking is free with validation. Trinity Groves has more than eight lots and over 1,000 spaces, and you can pick up the validation code at the Free Play host stand.
Come out, bring a friend, and let's see whether the students or the staff take this one.
